Microsoft is in the middle of a big product release schedule; Visual Studio 2008 and Silverlight 1.0 are already out providing new tools for developers, and early in 2008 Windows Vista Service Pack 1, SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 will be released. Later in the year, expect to see Silverlight 1.1 and Microsoft's answer to the iPhone user interface in Windows Mobile 7.
This session offers a high level briefing and is aimed primarily at technically-aware users who are not developers, but who want to be aware of the capabilities of the new Microsoft releases in desktop, server, mobile and developer tools to see if they can be used to give your company advantage. There'll be some demos to keep you interested - but not too much code!
