Computablity in Europe is the third international software conference in the series, "Exploring the Science of Software Development", organised by Swansea University's Computer Science Department,
in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government. The conference takes place at Swansea University from 30 June - 5 July, 2006 and focuses on the development of accurate, well written and
reliable software.
Each conference programme within the series
has included
a business breakfast event aiming to demonstrate to business the relevance of developing

software

Our invited speaker at the breakfast is the internationally renowned Computer Scientist, Professor Jan Bergstra, Professor of Computer Programming and Software Engineering at the University of
Amsterdam. Professor Bergstra's presentation 'Applying the Science of Software Development' will explain how software companies can benefit from the latest academic research into software
development techniques.
