"Networks-The next generation"
In association with The Business College Swansea and Cisco Systems
6pm - 8.30pm (6.30 start)
Thursday 27th
January 2005
The Business College Swansea
Swansea Vale,
Swansea
This event is the first from a series of seminars and workshops organised by the Technical Computing Group at IT Wales. The group was launched in September 2004 and IT Wales is working in
collaboration with Know How Wales, Swansea University and The Business College Swansea to develop this exciting new programme.
Networks are no longer an exclusive feature of the technology infrastructure of major organisations, education systems and government. They are rapidly becoming an essential part of the small
business set up. Cisco Systems is regarded as the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet and IT Wales is delighted that Ian Illingworth of Cisco Systems is joining us to offer an insight into the
networking industry and its future direction.
Following the presentation, Robert Lewis and Owen Phillips of The Business College will offer an opportunity to have a go at practical networking and provide information on Cisco Academy networking
courses.
This technical event is suitable for delegates with a general interest in discovering how networks can enhance business processes and improve productivity.
